This journal carries articles and notes from a wide range of fields such as economics,
history, and culture in Australia and its neighbour countries. Since 1975, it had been highly
valued as the only academic journal for Australian Studies in Japan for a long period.
Now, although there are many similar journals, the Journal still contributes significantly
to researches in this area.
