Housing & Residence Life

You can learn about customs and values while living as a member of a Japanese family.

A room with a desk and bedding will be supplied for you. Homestay fee includes two meals a day. You will be able to keep your living expenses down and have a comfortable stay in Japan. What is most appealing is that by experiencing the same lifestyle as your host family, you will be able to learn about the Japanese lifestyle, culture, and values. As your host family will communicate with you mostly in Japanese, this will also contribute to your acquiring practical language skills.

Rooms are fully furnished with internet connections. Breakfast and dinner will also be provided.

There are three types of dormitories: male, female, and co-ed dormitories. In either type, each student will be provided with a single room. Breakfast and dinner menus will be prepared each day by a dedicated nutritionist. The residence director supervises dormitories and you can obtain necessary support from them when you have any difficulties. Each room is equipped with furniture such as desk, bedding, air conditioner, and closet as well as a free internet connection.
